ot;Akhbar MT">Adverbs adapt verbs, adjectives or added adverbs. Adverbs are placed afterwards the verb it modifies, and are placed afore the adverb it modifies:



You sing able-bodied => Cantas bien.

You sing actual able-bodied => Cantas muy bien.

To accomplish adverbs add -mente (like how we add -ly to adjectives in English). For example,

natural : artlessly :: accustomed : naturalmente

easy: calmly :: fácil : fácilmente

Here are some added with -mente endings:

usually => generalmente

quickly => rápidamente<

Time Related

after => después

always => siempre

currently => actualmente

early => temprano

finally => por fin

frequently => frecuentemente

late => tarde

later => luego

never => jamás / nunca

now => ahora

often => a menudo

soon => pronto

then (next) => entonces

today => hoy

tomorrow => ma�ana

when => cuando

while => mientras

yesterday => ayer

yet (still) => todavía

Location Related

ahead => delante

behind => detrás

above => arriba

below => abajo

here => aqui

there => allí

inside => dentro

outside => fuera

nearby => cerca

far => lejos

where => dónde

Others

badly => mal

well => bien

loudly => alto, fuerte

softly => bajo

better => mejor

worse => peor

even yet => aún

moreover => además

also => también

almost => casi

enough => bastante

too abundant => demasiado

more => más

less => menos

much => mucho

very => muy

little => poco
