Adobe Flash Player is the high-performance, lightweight, highly expressive client runtime that delivers powerful and consistent user experiences across major operating systems, browsers, mobile phones, and devices. The program allows you to view all kinds of interactive on the Web like Youtube, games, business presentations, entertainment and advertisements. Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 9.0 is only available for Internet Explorer, but the installation process couldn't possibly be any easier. With all the multimedia, interactive content that the Internet abounds with these days, there is really a big need to have a good player for it

The Adobe Web Players—Flash Player

 and Shockwave Player—are available for distribution and use beyond single-user installations. This includes, for example, distributing to workstations within your department or organization, or on fixed media with your software product or multimedia experience. Adobe also provides a Flash Player Catalog for licensing and use with the SMS 2003 R2 Inventory Tool for Custom Updates. Catalogs for other players are not available at this time

You may post Adobe Web Players on company intranet sites or local networks. You may also distribute the Players on a CD, DVD, or any other physical media within the terms and conditions of the electronic Player Distribution License Agreement.

Please note:  Royalty-free Flash Player distribution is limited to specific desktop and laptop operating systems. Distribution restrictions are specified in the license agreement. Distribution on devices is subject to a licensing fee and different licensing terms.  Please contact an Adobe Mobile & Devices representative if you are interested in licensing Flash Player for distribution on devices.

Here is a brief summary of the rights granted by this license:

  • Licensee is permitted to distribute Adobe Web Players to multiple clients in a closed intranet environment.
  • Licensee is permitted to distribute Adobe Web Players to multiple end-users by including the Player installers on CDs, DVDs or other physical media.
  • Usage of Adobe Web Players is only permitted for supported platforms; usage rights on non-PC devices or embedded systems are not granted by this license.
  • Licensee must use the installers as-is without modification.
  • Licensees, at their discretion, are entitled to display the Flash Enabled and/or Shockwave logos on products or intranet sites according to the Style Guide

With new support for scripting and a powerful new set of accessible components, as well as a host of new support materials from the Adobe Accessibility Resource Center,designers and developers can create accessible rich media in ways never before possible.

Adobe Flash Player 9 has integrated support for Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA). MSAA serves as a bridge between Adobe Flash Player 9 and screen access technologies such as the Window-Eyes screen reader from GW Micro. Adobe Flash Player 9 allows designers and developers to script this information and update it as the content changes — thus allowing for accessibility in more flexible and powerful applications
